Assessment
A read-through of your manuscript
A brief written critique, highlighting what works and what doesn’t work
Developmental Editing
An intensive read-through of your manuscript with notes and written critiques. Our focus will be pacing, plot, point of view, structural issues, narrative and character arcs, any big picture questions.
Copyediting
A read-through of your manuscript with notes on and corrections of grammar, punctuation, language repetition, spelling
Proofreading
(Poetry Pack)
Poets need editors too. A close reading and assessment of your poem with notes, emphasis on language.

This plan includes
- Developmental edit with light copyediting
- A live phone or Skype call for questions after you review the edits
Intermediate
This plan includes
- In-depth developmental edit with copyediting
- A live phone or Skype call for questions after you review the edits
- A second developmental edit of the manuscript
- A second live phone or Skype call
Extras
Sample
This plan includes
- A sample edit of one (1) chapter of your manuscript
Rush
This is an optional add-on to any of the above services. Do you need your edits more quickly than usual? Then the “Rush” add-on is for you!
However, not everything should be rushed, and how much earlier the rush add-on can get you your edited manuscript is dependent on a number of factors. I’m always happy to discuss alternate deadlines with clients.
